Thank you for visiting my online portfolio. My name is Katlyn and I am a digital marketer, publicist, and strategist. I enjoy helping brands connect to their target audiences.
I’m a December 2016 Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Graduate. I obtained a degree in Public Relations and a minor in General Business. VCU prepared me with skills such as media relations, social media management, and writing.
I have an affinity to the world of content curation, which is highlighted in my blogging and social media work. I've produced content for various mediums, including online magazines, such as DEFY Media's Alloy.com, Elite Daily and Her Campus. As for my social media work, I've had the amazing opportunity to curate content for a variety of platforms, one of which includes Virginia Commonwealth University Libraries. I executed social media marketing campaigns, using platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, and much more.
